Masashi is an awesome host, super kind, helpful and fun. He's such a caring person. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't be happier. The work is not heavy at all, and the place is beautiful and so peaceful. You get to meet lots of travelers from all over the country, and the vibe really feels like home

This will be my 10th volunteering experience & I can honestly say it's been the most welcoming. Masashi is a wonderful host, friendly & accommodating with a nice vibe. It really was a pleasure to work a few hours a day at his place. Plenty of free time to explore. If I didn't have plans already I would have definitely stayed longer.

Miyaura Goten is home! The atmosphere is cool and the evenings can be spent in the kitchen together where the vibe is amazing and music is really relaxed. If you want your peace noone will disturb you,the island is felt like animal crossing! There's a Buddhist temple/ shrine down the hill where i went quite often. Lots of hidden beaches with no people.I wish I could've stayed longer there's a bunny island nearby full of rabbits.Life can be so easy and peaceful.I will come again! Thanks to Masashi I also learned some Japanese. Everyone is so helpful! Thank you! <3

Masashi is a truly warmhearted, open minded and fun person to be around! He cares for good energy, a positive mindset and collaborating together. He is a very generous man - cooked dinner for us together with his friends - invited us to onsen and let us use his bikes on a daily basis. 🥰🩷 I felt very welcomed at Masashis place and enjoyed my daily trips to the surrounding sightseeing spots very much. It was just the perfect timing and stay for me! The chores were easy and fun to do. Thank you Masashi for being who u are!!
