The Experience

Sou a Nídia e vivo no sul de Portugal, numa Quinta ecológica e com vários animais (cavalos, uma burra, cães, gatos, porcos e dois gansos. A quinta situa-se a 2km da praia e a 2km de Vila do Bispo. Necessito de ajuda para os cuidados diários dos animais e instalações, bem como pequenos projectos de melhoria das condições de vida na Quinta. Os voluntários tem de gostar de uma vida simples e natural, entre os animais e em respeito pela natureza.

At Nídia's farm I had a very unique and wonderful time. She was very welcoming and thought us a lot about how to live sustainable, create a comfortable life with just a few things and about spirituality. We got to know the local spots and also the local people. Her animals were friendly and always around. I'd highly recommend this experience if you want to know more about simple life on a farm and spirituality.

My time on Nidias farm was one of the most unique and transformative experiences I've had yet while travelling. She was extremely welcoming from the get go, and offered many spiritual healing experiences that I learned so much from ontop of learning how to live off the land in a sustainable through the work we did. She brought us to local spots and made us feel comfortable, and was always ensuring we were safe and at ease on the farm. If you are interested in learning the simple life, have an awareness or curiosity of spirituality and the energy of the world, I would strongly recommend this.
