The Experience

We are looking for some friendly people to be part of our staff, able to send good energy and welcome warmly our guests. Very relax job. Perfect place if you are a surfer or a nature lover, we are only a few steps from one of the best surf spots and on the way to the natural parks in the south part of the island. Small hostel managed by a local family. We give preference to travelers who speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.

All in all I had a good experience at the hostel. The hostel is pretty, the rooms are really comfortable and the location is just perfect, right in front of the beach. Work time could be a bit less, because I think 30 hours per week is quite a lot considering it's “only” free accomodation you get. The atmosphere in general is a nice one but I think it could be helpful to make some kind of reunions with the whole team from time to time because I felt there was a lack of communication sometimes. All in all it's recommended but can improve in some ways.

Juan and his family are the most cozy people you can find.. There you really feel like being part of the family.. The job is not hard and you can enjoy the beach right in front of the hostel! My experience there was great and i would recommend to anyone who is thinking about coming to Florianópolis.

The hostel is super well located, you just have to cross a dune to get to the beach, and have everything you need! The owner, his family and also the job are super chill! Thanks for all guys!

The hostel has a very unique vibe that I haven't felt anywhere else. Juan and his family are beyond welcoming to guests and volunteers alike. The hostel itself is in a great locaton and offers great trips/information regarding surf, hikes and the genergal area. I reccommend this hostel for anyone who is looking for a fun, chill time surrounded by good people and beautiful landscapes.
