The Experience

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on volunteer with experience in plants to take on a special green project at our hostel. The main mission: Transform the empty space under the stairs in our patio into a small jungle-style corner. Right now, it’s just tiles! It needs, bricks, plastic to protect from water leakage, and some stones — so the whole setup still needs to be created from scratch.

The host Natalia and Jordan were incredibly sweet and caring. I worked closely with their content manager, Mariana on creating content for the hostel. The work was enjoyable and the hours were what we previously agreed upon. The hostel was clean and comfortable. As this was my 4th Worldpackers it was incredible and I really enjoyed my time here. My rating is a 10/10 and I highly recommend anyone to join. I wasn't a fan of Pereira itself so go on day trips when you can and maybe stay 3 weeks max. I am going to miss it :,(

I feel like the accommodation was a great combination of clearn and quite while also being lively and inviting. The food I got at the café as often better that what'd I'd ordered at local restaurants on multiple occassions. I stayed for three weeks while volunteering and wouldn't mind going back in the future. The hosts were also very accommodating and very generous.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. The hostel and the café are amazing place, it's feels like home and both are very inspiring. Natalia was very flexible and available all along my stay if I had any questions about the experience or the travel. Plus I had the chance to work with Mariana on the socials and all the team is very friendly and helpful. The tasks are very clear from the beginning and leave lots of space for creativity!

Mi experiencia en el hostel ha sido excelente. Desde el primer momento están muy pendiente de ti y que estés bien y cómoda. Las instalaciones son muy bellas y acogedoras. Los tiempos acordados se respetan al 100%. El equipo que trabaja en la Casa es súper amable y atento y la comida es deliciosa. Recomiendo mucho esta experiencia si buscas un lugar tranquilo, confortable y acogedor 💙.

Me encantó trabajar en las redes sociales para el hostel, Nati es súper organizada y atenta, el personal del lugar también es súper amable, me hicieron sentir súper bien, siempre con una sonrisa. En cuanto al trabajo es acorde con lo descrito y Nati valora mucho las nuevas ideas y está abierta a experimentar con el tema de redes lo cual da espacio para que la creatividad vuele!!! Lo recomiendo 100% además sus instalaciones son hermosas y el desayuno muy rico. ❤️❤️❤️
