The Experience

We are in the heart of beautiful Burgundy and breed Arabian and Arabian-Barb horses. We have about 30 horses, ranging from foals, adults to retired ones. Help is needed in getting the horses fit with the objective of endurance competitions. So we are looking only for experienced riders, light (not over 70kgs as our horses are small), with a secure seat and confident in all 3 gaits over variety of terrain, for all types of fun outings !

I spent some fantastic weeks volunteering with Marie-Christine and Marcel on their farm. Daily horse rides through the countryside were the highlight. I was provided with comfortable accommodation and daily delicious, nourishing meals. I learned a lot about horses, food production, nature, and life itself. My French also improved significantly through immersion and conversations. Marie-Christine and Marcel's hospitality was incredible. I highly recommend this authentic, enriching stay to anyone who loves horses and knows how to ride. Grateful for the knowledge and memories, merci pour tout!
