The Experience

Welcome to our home by the sea! We are a family living in a large beach house and we are looking for Workawayers who want to share this experience with us. In exchange for room and board, we need a hand with general maintenance: garden chores, painting, taking care of the vegetable garden and taking care of our animals (we have a chicken coop, turtles and dogs). No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and a positivity

Volunteering at Purim was amazing! I got there not knowing what to expect and was positively surprised. Work was fun and dynamic - we had different tasks to do everyday. And the team was really kind and attentive, especially Bony. Also, absolutely no complaints about the food since we always had a full fridge and pantry at our disposal! Would love to come back for summer :)

I had a nice time volunteering at Villa Purim. It's a great place to slow down and connect with nature. The region is very beautiful, the tasks are easy and the work hours are always respected. They also have dogs and they are super sweet. They provide 3 meals a day and paella on Sunday, which is delicious!!!! Thank you David and Bony for everything!

I had a very nice time here. The villa was beautiful and really impressed me. The host wasn't around much, but he was very friendly when we met. The worker, Bonny, was very nice and patient. The work was not too hard and had a good variety. The two dogs were super sweet, and it was always great to walk to the sea, which was only five minutes away. Thank you for the calm and enjoyable time. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

Villa Purim is such a beautiful place! The house and the garden are amazing - we took care of the maintenance. Watering, feeding the chicken and sweeping were daily tasks. The working hours were treated fairly and managed by Bony, whom we hung out with a lot. The beach is super close and there is always a bus going to the centre of Dénia - so there's a lot to see! I really enjoyed my stay at David's place and would recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience in the warmth of Spain.

My stay at the guest house was very nice! The workhours from 8-1 are very fair and so is the work. I got to do many different things like gardening, bakeing or feeding the chickens. I didnt got to see David a lot, because he just opend a new restaurant but we could always speek to Bony and it was in total a very nice atmosphare. I also loooved that the house is so close to the beach and the city centre of Denia is also very lovely. I could definetly reccoment this place and maybe i will go back there, because it really is a lovely place to stay!
