The Experience

We have a beautiful Eco friendly Agri-Toursim resort in the beautiful Okanagan, BC. We are 15 Min from Vernon and 45 Min from downtown Kelowna. 35 Min from the Kelowna International Airport. We grow organic food and have aeroponic towers. We also have a number of farm animals everyone is very well trained and we love hosting volunteers from around the world!

I had such a great time spending three weeks here! LJ and Dough are amazing hosts, they are super welcoming, easy to talk to, and always there if you need anything. The farm is very beautiful and it was awesome being surrounded by nature and animals every day. I also got to pick up so many new skills while helping out, which made it even more fun. Thanks so much Doug and LJ for everything. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience!

A friend and I spent 4 weeks here volunteering in exchange for accommodation as part of our travels in Canada. Our hosts, Doug and Lj were extremely friendly and enjoyable to work with, and they looked after us while we were staying here. The place is beautiful, with animals and an organic micro green farm which we had the opportunity to help assemble and learn about. Thanks so much Doug & Lj, all the best.

My friend and I had the pleasure of volunteering at the farm for four weeks. We had an unforgettable time that allowed us to learn and grow in many ways. Doug and LJ are great hosts who made us feel welcome and supported throughout our stay. The location was absolutely beautiful, and we loved being surrounded by nature and animals. From the outset, both were willing to help us and resolve our concerns. Agreed times were kept and the stay was generally good. Then the situation changed. There were a lot of drugs in the house, which we don't agree with but respect those who do. One night, they offered us a sandwich and did not inform us that it contained hallucinogenic substances, which was very serious on their part. Days later, because we did not lock a door, we were treated badly, yelled at, and left without accommodation four days before the end of our stay. We had to book a hotel and stay there until our flight. 1/5
