I had a really good time at la Comarca. Everybody was really nice and welcoming which made me really comfortable from the start. The working hours are flexible and you can often choose the tasks you want to do or even suggest your own ideas to improve the place. In your free time you can go for walks, go to the river or play cards with the others. Everybody learns how to play Durak within the first 24 hours and it's one of the best card games I've ever played. I also really enjoyed variety of food you get to try as everyone takes turns in cooking for the others. It's a great place!

I had a really good time at La Comarca, the place is very beautiful. Alex is a nice host and very welcoming. The shifts were very flexible and involved a lot of outdoor tasks. We cooked in turns for each other and could use the kitchen and food also for baking, which was fun. In our free time, we went to the beach a couple of times and spent time at the river. The only drawback for me was, that the volunteer accommodations are very basic, but overall it was a great experience.

This was a great first experience . The setup is excellent, offering plenty of personal space and a comfortable environment. Alex is incredibly respectful, treating volunteers like his friends. The location is perfect for nature lovers, and having the option to borrow a car for trips was a huge bonus. When it comes to work, there's a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling and choosing from various tasks that need to be done. A highlight was the card game Durak, engaging activity played during free moments. It's a fantastic way for new volunteers to feel included and bond with the group.

Staying at La Comarca was a great experience. Alex was kind and welcoming. We usually worked in the mornings, and the afternoons were free for walks, baking, playing games etc. There was even a car for volunteers to use. Alex also took us to the beach a couple of times. There were plenty of tasks to choose from, and you could pick the ones you liked best. We also took turns cooking for one another. The area around the place was stunning, and we got to see a lot of toucans. Overall, I'd recommend this experience. It was a nice combination of meaningful work, relaxation, and great company.

Alexander was a welcoming host. From the start, I felt like I could count on him for whatever reason and he made me feel safe. You can truly feel how much this kind man is taking good care of volunteers and looks over everyone's wellbeing. The work was well organized, with a board of tasks and everyone was rotating around. In La Comarca, there was absolutely no pressure, the energy was light the entire time proper for sharing everything with each other. Worldpackers was a perfect opportunity to practice my spanish skills and learn on other countries. I loved La Comarca and wish Alex the best!

My experience at La Comarca was amazing! Alex was an amazing host and very good at helping me and other volunteers learn new skills. Our tasks were pretty easy and there was a lot of flexibility. We went to some amazing places when not doing work. I met so many cool people from around the world who were all very nice. The scenery is beautiful there and lots of cool wildlife. It was a very welcoming and fun place to volunteer!
