Friendly Glamping Site in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica!

I was a volunteer before, so I know what it's like to work as one. You can rest assured that I will be the best host of all!

What are the main tasks for volunteers?
Gardening, building paths, cooking, assisting with logistics, and brainstorming.

I like to exercise, surf, and do yoga, so if you enjoy that too, wooho! There are many fruits growing on the property for us to enjoy during our breakfasts :) I will do my best to make you feel like this is your home and that we are one big family :)

I felt welcome from the second I arrived. Alex was truly the best host I could’ve asked for—always there to help, whether it was with work or just emotional support. The place is a 11/10. Simply sitting in the living room and enjoying the nature around is amazing.
You can really feel how much hard work and love has gone into this place. Eating together every day and having meaningful conversations felt like being part of a big family, but better.
This was one of the most beautiful months of my whole year.

Staying here for over three months is truly life-changing. Alex & the volunteers helped me grow immensely, going from zero Spanish to being conversational by the end of my stay. I met 40+ volunteers from around the world & learned about cooking, cultures, & community. The dining room became an area for amazing meals, games, & late night talks; the river was perfect after work & the big dome for sports & karaoke. Seeing the constant progress & impact of our work was very rewarding. The wildlife & Bongo, felt like a nature documentary & I 100% recommend to anyone! & I wish I could write more💔

WOW!! My cousin and I had such an amazing time here. Alex has done such an incredible job creating a community-like and welcoming environment. We all cook and eat together, work collaboratively and chill like a little family! The work is fulfilling every morning and the environment is gorgeous, with lush greenery, toucans and puppies!! We have made friends for life.
I would say that the vibe began to shift as a few new rules were trialed but I know Alex will maintain this special community he has crafted. He truely is what makes the place! Highly recommend :)

What an amazing place filled with amazing people, my 3 weeks there has been some of the most memorable travels in recent times. The camp site has everything you need, the unlimited food pantry, abundance of nature and a sense of community. The work itself isn’t very difficult, there’s always other unique tasks and jobs you can do if you prefer to try a side quest or two, Alex is extremely flexible and probably one of the most down to earth individuals you’ll meet. He’s a jack of all trades and Marco is the maestro in the kitchen. Honestly couldn’t have picked a better volunteer opportunity.
