The Experience

The project is still in it's early stages, therefore there are various options for volunteers to get engaged with. Volunteers coming here will have Nissanka as their contact person (manager) might even be looking for some adventure. We would like to offer small projects to volunteers for their time here, such as: designing the garden and the camp site, watering and weeding the plants, harvesting fruits and coconut & helping with animals.

Please find my full 5 star review with pictures and videos on Google maps. This one's for you volunteers. Tip #1 - make sure you screenshot the location when in Puttalam for the Tuk Tuk driver because your eSIM will lose connection. Tip #2 - this was my favourite room so far! The window to the trees is the size of the entire wall (imagine waking up and sleeping to that), you have a whole veranda to yourself (great for meditating and yoga) and your own private open air bathroom (!!!). Just make sure the door is always closed. It's open air and you're in a Sri Lankan farm. Life was goooood !

I want to thank the farm family from my heart for the wonderful hospitality. In this week together, I found everything makes me feel happy: a sense of family, deep contact with nature, really tasty food, fun and laughs, peace and harmony, and much more! I won't forget your beautiful smiles, the infinite stars view on the roof, the wonder of contemplating dawns and light bugs from my bed. Here, I remembered about everything is important and valuable for me and I want to bring in my life. Thank you again. With love, Samuele

I have learned a lot from this land! Not only the farm skill but also the culture and Sinhala. Work schedule is decent with 3 delicious meals per day and a couples of tea time. The family always included me on all activities and keep me occupied...super caring spirit. The stay was very comfortable and the people made this place like home. ස්තුතියි!
