The Experience

The task will be to rebuild some walls in sand stones that went down with a fall of tree. There are also some parts of wall in stones that need to restore with the old technique of building walls with stone and not beton/cement. Would you like to join me in this challenge?

Marco was a fantastic host! He cared a lot about making us feel comfortable and having everything we needed in terms of food, tools and private spaces. He gave us a true south Italian experience and was very welcoming. We enjoyed cooking meals and going to the beach together. We also had the chance to meet some of his friends. We would start the day with breakfast and work from 07:30 to 11:30/12:00. The work would manly involve restoration of the garden, building dead fences and creating some organization to an ancient Italian garden. We highly recommend Marco and his project!

Marco is a really nice guy and a caring person. He showed me the city and the most beautiful beaches near his place. His garden is like a magic jungle, its really beautiful. And there are a lot of things to do, its hard work but its worth it. You will see your process every day. I'm looking forward to coming back again! I really had a very good time here. Thank You Marco!

I had an amazing stay with Marco at his magical garden the farm! Marco is such a wonderful person and he showed me around the local area where I met great people, learned about history, indulged in local cuisine, and enjoyed beautiful beaches. The work experience was structured but flexible and the work tasks were a joy to partake in (pruning fruit trees, building fences, clearing aqueducts etc). He would bring down delicious snacks to the garden as I worked such as orange slices, dates, cookies, espressos. The apartment was clean and homey. Until next time :)
