The Experience

This position is for cat lovers who enjoy quiet time, independence, and being in the heart of Cusco. My sister occasionally travels, and during those times, her two sweet cats need someone to care for them just as she does. The home is located just 10 minutes walking from the San Pedro Market and close to many local restaurants, cafés, and shops. Volunteers are welcome to stay in the house and use the shared spaces, including a fully equipped ki

My stay at Vilma's house in the countryside was a great opportunity near Cusco & the Inca ruins I was visiting. I was kindly welcomed by her &her daughter. There is also a nice young man there who goes to college nearby. 1-2 workers came daily & ate there as well. I washed the plates & cooking pans- as well as helping with their cats & dogs. All were affectionate, I fell in love with every animal. They also have a second estate that overlooks the village; a breathtaking view I appreciated photographing. I declined to help with the land there though. No big deal but I had ruins to see each day

I speant a great time in Cusco. The tasks are easy to do and don't take a lot of time, so there's enough time to visit the city. I appreciate that Roxana's sister helped me with everything, such as the tasks in the house as personal stuff too

It was a great experience, just 1 hour away from Cusco! We felt welcoming by the host mom we were in the house with! And we had a lot of free time to discover around, as agreed in Worldpackers! Recommended! :)

No máximo morno. A vaga diz que tem lavanderia e bicicleta disponível e na realidade não tem.

Thiago, every time we asked if you were well, you said yes. My home is not a hotel—communication is essential. Isolating yourself, eating alone, and then leaving without a word left an elderly lady in uncertainty. Work on my land was my mother’s suggestion, with lunch in return, but she’s not anyone’s cook. Volunteering is an exchange, not one-sided. Laundry and the bicycle were available—you never asked.
