The Experience

From March, a new season begins on our farm. Nature and our farm of the future are waking up from hibernation.
The first plants are being planted in the market garden, the first shoots are sprouting in the vineyard and our farm barn is being converted back into a huge living room.

From April to October, our farm is the venue for a variety of events, and this year there will be symposiums again, which are holistic mini-festivals with philosophy.

The farm is a little piece of heaven on earth. Every little ingredients are reunited for an amazing experience at the farm! Severin, the hardworking and multitask host, will make sure you are being looked after properly and that you are not missing anything. There's plenty of opportunities to learn about different stuff, gardening, wine making, harvesting, painting and COOKING which was my favorite part of course ! Made friends for life, the list of people I will miss is long, 100% RECOMMEND EYES CLOSED :))))

My first Worldpackers and I picked the perfect place. Severin is a hardworking, generous, and fun host. If you need anything, just ask! The work is enjoyable and insightful. I loved harvesting and spending time in the vineyards. Afternoons are free to explore or relax. I spent my time drawing, reading, painting, dancing, and gossiping. Severin stocks the kitchen with everything you need. It's a great environment to practice German with compassionate and patient people. Leonie, Johanna, Madi, Clara, Max, and Hannes are such lovely people too. If I could lose my job and stay longer, I would :)

Severin is a very generous host and fosters a rewarding volunteer experience. The tasks varied between gardening or helping in the vineyard and were split up between shifts, so it never felt repetitive. The kitchen is always stocked with groceries in addition to the vegetables produced from the farm. Severin is very accommodating if you need anything specifically, but does a great job at providing more than enough food (and drinks!). Working, cooking, and hanging out with the other volunteers was so much fun, I would recommend this experience to anyone interested in gardening or winemaking!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the farm. I learned so much about gardening and wine making. Severin is a great host who is very kind and passionate about his work. I will always cherish our lunches under the walnut tree, such a great way to connect as well as push yourself in the kitchen to try making new dishes. I will miss our conversations amongst the veggies as well as our bike trips to the lake. What an amazing month!

Everything was amazing at the farm! I got to meet some great people and share unforgettable moments. Severin is super nice and always helpful. They were really flexible too. If you're looking to have a good time surrounded by nature, I totally recommend it. Harvest days are the best you can eat as many carrots as you want while pulling them out of the ground!
