I'm incredibly grateful for the unforgettable cultural experience I had. Arriving during the New Year holidays, I joined the local festival, not just as a guest but as a participant, shoulder to shoulder, eye to eye. Life at the site was peaceful and rich with cultural exchange, built on mutual respect and real connection. Over time, I felt like part of a family. Peter, the host, is a truly caring person who listens and supports you fully. I'm excited to see how the project grows—and I know I'll be back, not just as a volunteer, but as a friend.☺️🙏

Simon, your words genuinely moved me. Hosting you was more than just sharing a space—it was sharing ideas, culture, and meaningful connection. From the moment you arrived, you brought presence, depth, and kindness to every moment. Watching you immerse yourself in the culture and the community reminded us all why we do what we do. You’ll always have a place here, and I can’t wait to see you back someday. Until then, keep being you—you’re one of a kind.

Await for the spices.. 😍

One of the most amazing experience of my life. Being able to truly connect with all the locals, learn about their culture, their holidays, their games was such a unique experience. You really feel like you're part of their big family. The hosts are as amazing, they made the communication really easy. They're always open to suggestions and they listen to your needs. They have a wonderful project and I feel really special to have been part of it! If you're looking for this type of experience with a great location, the eco village is for you! Just so you know it might be hard to leave ;)

Flooo…You didn’t just visit Sri Lanka—you became part of the village, part of our chaos, jokes, deep talks, and all the beautiful little moments in between. You brought your whole heart, and we felt it every single day.

Thank you for being the kind of iuman who makes everything better just by being around. your bed’s waiting, little oooome is waiting, the crew’s waiting, and the Sri Lankan Olives just for you! Big uggs and belly laughs coming your way!

Truely such a unique experience. I was able to meet and socialise with local village people and learn about Sri Lankan culture. I had the chance to be there for the new year festival. It was amazing to be apart of all the games, music and dances. The hosts are very welcoming and good at communicating, I felt comfortable working with them. I recommend anyone wanting to experience local culture to come and be apart of this project. I will be back and cannot wait to see everything finished
