Our experience at the eco village was so beautiful. Meeting and connecting with the locals, drinking lots of tea and watching the special vision they are holding for this land come to life were highlights for us. Everyone was very generous with us and we enjoyed the bits of gardening we did. We feel very lucky to have this special experience to look back on and carry forward. So much gratitude! Big recommend 🐾🌊🦋🌱

It was the best experience ever. Peter and all people who you spend your time there with are awesome, kind, friendly and generous people who care about you and Peter always help with any problems you dealing with. It was my first experience solo travelling and they help to be okay chill and enjoy my time. Also we did many adventures together like Safari or trip on boat, yoga….thank you

First off all, it's been an incredible experience! I've learned so many new skills from climbing coconut trees to driving a tuk-tuk. I learned to cook traditional dishes and we also started the first steps into farming. On top of that I've met amazing beautiful people and had the chance to truly immerse myself in the local culture. Everyone is super welcoming even though we sometimes don't speak the same language. A special shoutout to Peter and Dumidu for making me feel at home and including me in everything. Because of them, I've extended my stay and I hope to come back someday.

This volunteering experience was truly something special, and I feel so lucky it was my first! The project is inspiring and you can genuinely feel the positive impact it's going to have. I learned so much, not just about gardening and construction (although I am leaving with a few more skills in my pocket), but also from the lovely locals who welcomed us with open arms and taught us my new favourite card game, Omi :) Huge thanks to Peter for his kindness throughout, guiding us and making sure we felt supported every step! I can't wait to be back to see how this beautiful project turns out!

I am deeply grateful to Peter for giving me the opportunity to take part in my first ever volunteering experience,it was truly exceptional, his team was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating an environment where I immediately felt at home. The farm, surrounded by nature, was breathtakingly beautiful and offered a peaceful retreat from the everyday. What stood out most to me was not only the meaningful work with sustainable projects but also the cultural exchange and strong sense of community. I genuinely wish I could have stayed longer, and I'll definitely be coming back.
