The Experience

Hello! We live in the beautiful province Värmland in Sweden. We try to be self sufficient on our farm. We have a greenhouse and a market garden about 4000m2. We try to have potatoes, strawberries and all different kind of vegetables. We have cows and a pigg for our own meat. We want help with the garden. I stayed for 5 weeks and had a wonderful time. Marcia, Dimitry and Julia are super nice and funny people. The forest is next to the farm and is really beautiful. On the days off you can also take the bus to the nearest town Ekshärad or go for a walk in the forest. They also always made sure that you were involved in the activities (pancake nights, sleigh tours, riding tours). I also learnt a lot of new things (making a fire, driving on ice, western riding,...). I had a really good time there and I already miss it. I hope that I can come back one day. Many thanks to Marcia, Dimitry and Julia.
