Description

The location of our coliving is quite remote and far from grocery stores. We cook and eat communally, the owner coordinates our shopping lists for the week and purchases the groceries for the house. Paying guests pay a fee of €70 and volunteers pay a reduced fee of €50 per week. This fee includes all food/groceries for the week and other supplies (oil, dish washing soap, trash bags, gas for the drive to the store, propane for the stove/oven etc.)

The Experience

We are looking for volunteers to help us out this summer and fall with maintaining our gardens. Our coliving space is curated for digital nomads to escape the urban hustle and bustle. We invite you to experience this refuge as well, while contributing to our mission of minimal environmental impact by maintaining our own food system. Compost, chicken coop, food garden, and peaceful relaxation garden are all in need of your support.

My experience at the coliving was incredible! I helped out with social media, which mostly entailed taking videos of day-to-day activities around the house. I was also responsible for keeping the living space clean and sometimes helping out in the garden. Oscar and Nara are the nicest hosts you could possibly ask for, and they made me feel like I was at home from the first day. It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have asked for a better place!

This was my first Worldpackers experience! I had a very positive time at the coliving. The house is very clean, and everyone has a private room and bathroom. The weather at this time of year was really nice. I enjoyed making connections with people from all over the world, hearing their stories, and learning about the unique ways some people work and travel. I also enjoyed practicing Spanish a bunch! The food was amazing, and I appreciate that everyone takes turns to prepare meals for the group. Lots to eat all the time! The work and hours are fair. I felt very welcome by Oscar and Nara!

Would highly recommend volunteering at the coliving if you're looking for Spanish immersion in the mountains! I got to practice my Spanish with Oscar and learned so much about the Spanish culture through visiting nearby pueblos and meeting his friends. The tasks are everything from preparing the rooms to working with wood - Oscar explains well how to do it. We share the main meals everyday where we change who cooks so it was delicious to try different recipes. It's also so peaceful there and I ended up having so many interesting and inspiring conversations! Thank you Oscar and Nara for everything!

This experience was the first one and it was amazing. I really enjoyed working for Oscar. He is welcoming and is flexible. You can talk with him and tell you need, he is very reactive. The working task were easy and I had the chance to make his website. It was awesome to meet all the people there. the coliving is a nice place to stay and relax.
