The experience

As we are just starting up this project again since it was running for a bit a few years ago, we need to just clean up and prepare the place for more activity. Things need sorting and needs to be sold in a simple yard/garage type of sale. There are also other tasks that needs done, like painting the walls, planting different plants for the seasons, some inside and some outside, and we also need to sell the things by the road.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

You can take free in the weekends, and besides work you are free to do as you like. You can stack up days if you want with double work or a few more hours per day for one more free day for example. You can also choose more or less when you work, however it can be useful to work in teams.

Activities & Shift

We have a cinema here you can use to watch movies & series. We also have a room where you can set up a computer to work, or do some creative tasks.

Rules

No smoking or drinking here. Some people dont handle alcohol well, and to make a safe environment we need to keep it alcohol free. When it comes to smoking, you can off course smoke outside, but not inside. Also, you need to cook your own food, and also clean up after yourself. We dont have finished dishes, we only provide food items for the people. You also have to ask if you want anything in particular, as we are many people from all over the world, so food habits are vastly different from person to person. Sometimes people also buy their own food if they want something particular that day, and that works by the way that I do buy food sometimes and it goes bad before anyone use it. Then its easier to buy your own food and use it exactly when you want to use it. However, generally speaking, we have food here that is capable of being stored. A lot of things in storage you have to ask for so we can pick it and give it to you. You also have to clean after yourself, we had some issues with people wanting someone else to clean their things (leaving the kithen full of dirty dishes, plus pots and pans), and that creates chaos in the kitchen. So thats an absolute rule: Cook, and clean :)
