This was my first volunteering experience and I had a wonderful time! Helene was so accommodating and welcoming, and I felt completely at home at Mysen. The working hours and tasks were very flexible, and it was lovely working with all the other volunteers! I loved meeting people from different countries and it was a truly enriching experience. Helene was the best host I had, she was very accommodating regarding work hours and very flexible, and the tasks were not too hard. We could choose our hours and which days to work. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The home theatre is amazing to watch movies in. Thank you for hosting us Helene!

I had a great time in Mysen with Helene! The hours were flexible, Helene was very accommodating, and the town was beautiful. I was lucky enough to get a few inches of snow! Comfy bed, there was some food available, but I ended up buying some of my own to cook. Flexible hours, and she even let some of us stay in her Oslo apartment for New Years Eve! A great experience for my first Worldpackers!

My volunteering experience in Mysen, Norway, was simply wonderful. From the beginning I felt welcomed, especially thanks to Helene, who is an amazing person and a real pleasure to talk to and work with. The work was very interesting and, most importantly, extremely flexible, which allowed me to manage my time easily and fully enjoy the experience. Mysen is a very lovely town, quiet and surrounded by nature and Oslo is easily reachable by train, making it possible to explore the capital as well. I would highly recommend this experience.

I had a great time in Mysen. The town is small and quiet so you can really rest from the loudness of big cities. All the volunteers were super nice and we had fun working together on the storage room. Also the work itself wasn't that challenging and actually proved very fun and rewarding. I never thought I would enjoy woodworking as much as I did. Thank you Helene and Family

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment I arrived, Helene and her family were some of the kindest, most welcoming people I've ever met! They made me feel completely at home, so accommodating, generous, and genuinely caring. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility of the working hours , you could work in the morning or later in the day, whatever suited you, as long as the tasks were completed. It made the experience feel respectful and stress free. Mysen itself is a beautiful place to stay and I would 100% recommend this experience.

I very much enjoyed my time at Mysen, in Norway. The place is beautiful, full of character, and it's exciting to see the amazing eco-project they are creating there. Helene was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and generous, and always great to talk to. There was lots of flexibility, the chance to meet lovely people, and the surrounding nature in this small town is perfect for peaceful walks. The train connection is easy and convenient, making it simple to visit nearby places and Oslo as well. I'm really grateful for the experience and would highly recommend it.
