The Experience
This volunteer position would be focus on your artist skills, you will help us decorating our hostel, making it more special and memorable for our guests. All of this art will be done on walls so we're requesting for a volunteer that is used to paint on street walls or house walls. All the materials that are going to be necessary for this position are provided from us.

My experience as a volunteer was truly exceptional. From the moment you arrive, the team welcomes you warmly and makes you feel like one of them. Everyone speaks English and even some Spanish, so communication is super easy. Every week they share your schedule, and it's always respected. The atmosphere is positive, relaxed, and full of good energy!!

As I arrived at the hostel in Como, I experienced great hospitality with Joana and the staff. I instantly felt at home! The hostel has a cozy and wonderful ambiance and I had truly enjoyed the social activities I hosted for the guests. Although this was my first volunteer experience, I haven't experienced any difficulties. During my stay, I have met a great amount of travellers from all over the world which was so special. I will definitely treasure the memories I have made with them. Besides that, I also had the lovely chance to explore the beautiful area of the hostel and Lombardia.

Highly recommend this volunteering experience!! Everything is as advertised on the application and the team are super helpful. The tasks are mostly social, so you gain many opportunities to meet locals and travelers in a beautiful, sweet pocket of the world. Trust you will be entering an energetic and caring hostel community.

The hostel was a highlight of my travels! The staff welcomed me warmly, and the work community and vibe were fantastic. The hostel attracts charismatic, fun people—I've made lifelong connections here. It's lively and exciting, and you'll need a solid social battery (and this was low season!), but the experience is absolutely worth it. I 100% recommend!

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing!! The work was actually so fun and allows you to make friends with guests and locals. Work hours were always respected; Joana and the other staff make you feel so at home. I truly loved my time in Como and am so thankful for everything I learnt and experienced!! Would come back in a heartbeat.
