Our experience was disappointing. The place was dirty, had no sheets, unstable electricity, and almost no internet. The host left on the first day and left his sister in charge, who wasn't prepared to manage volunteers and treated us in a controlling and disrespectful way. She assigned tasks that were not agreed upon, and when we tried to explain how Worldpackers works, she got angry and threatened us. She demanded to see our messages to the platform and entered our room without permission, even while one of us was in the shower. We felt unsafe and left. Since she refused to help us reach town

I wouldn't recommend this volunteering experience. The place is not operating as a hostel and does not fulfill what was promised. Many tasks couldn't be carried out due to lack of proper tools, disorganization, and we were asked to do things that were not agreed upon. It is completely isolated (a 2-hour walk from the nearest town, so you need a car to move). There is no connectivity or stable basic services like internet or electricity. We had to leave due to mistreatment, yelling, and threats from the host's sister, as he was away. The experience was irresponsible, unsafe, and dangerous.
