The Experience

We are currently welcoming volunteers to assist us with some of our rural public schools that are in need of help with the teaching of the English language. Our foreign volunteers will be sent to these schools to assist the Thai English teachers in their classrooms which can make a much needed positive impact on the lives of the students and their families. We invite you to come teach Basic English to our students from Kindergarten 6th grade.

I loved the experience I had throughout my stay. Everyone at the the school makes you feel welcome from the very first moment you arrive. The locals are so kind and respectful. I love that I had the opportunity to meet other people doing this volunteer work and to immerse myself in their culture. At the the school, they were always willing to listen to my needs, and if I needed anything, they provided it. I'm leaving with a wonderful experience—thank you so much for having me. Thank you for everything!

I had an extraordinary time here. I enjoyed every moment from conversing with the teacher to teaching the students. I felt very welcomed and learned a lot from everyone as well. Every day was different and filled with laughter. I feel as though this the school has impacted me in the most positive way and I would recommend this opportunity to everyone I know. The students and faculty are very respectful and do what they can to help. I also enjoyed playing volleyball and other various games with the kids. I also loved speaking with the teachers and learning more about the Thai language and culture.

1,000,000/10! I cannot rave enough about this experience. I was hesitant at first to volunteer in such a remote location in a place I've never been with the added barrier of a language I've never spoken. As soon as I arrived, all of those worries melted away. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I felt welcome, safe, and valued. There were absolutely no downsides and I really don't know where to begin with all of the good. The students are such treasures. If you have any interest in teaching in Thailand, please start here. Hani will guide you through it.

This was my eleventh Worldpackers exchange, and I had the privilege of being Bam the the school's first. Hani is a joy to communicate with and ensures everything runs smoothly. the the school is extremely welcoming and ensures that you have everything you need and quick to answer any questions you may have. The people of the village also receive you with open arms. For a genuine immersion into Northern Thai village culture, a warm, caring staff, and children brimming with curiosity, you'll leave with a full understanding of why Thailand is called the Land of Smiles!
