Description

We ask you to become a member of our APS association so that you are covered with a small volunteers' insurance.

What you get

Days off per week: Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Support: Get help from the Worldpackers support team in case you need it, at any point of your trip.

The Experience

Ciao! We are a commune , we have been living together for 10 years now, we are 5 adults around 35 yo and 4 children under 8yo. We here live and work together also with volunteers as equal, of course some chores are also individual but most of the time is spent in the garden, woods, building stuff, doing basic home chores for survival such as cleaning and cooking and also take care of guests during events we host. We speak basic english.

Living atthe community was a beautiful and enriching experience! From sleeping in the cozy dome to taking care of the animals, cooking with fresh & regional ingredients and sharing it all with other lovely volunteers - every moment was a joy. You help out wherever support is needed at the time which keeps things interesting and diverse! The commune truly cares about fair and respectful treatment for everyone living there. I loved my time here at thethe community Eco-village! The whole family is so welcoming and you can always trust that they are there for you! I learned so much about sustainability, gardening, cooking, pipe changing, and so much more! I admire how politically active they are, and it may be a small commune but they make a huge impact on other communities, people, and mother nature! So heck yes I recommend this special place!!♡

Alvadore eco village is a special place that have planted themselves deep into the community space of reggio Emilia. They are kind and welcoming towards volunteers. I learnt so much about cooking, eco printing and feel refreshed in my social and political activism goals. I also enjoyed sleeping in the cosy tent and feeding the chickens. We carried and sorted a lot of wood. I leave with bigger muscles and a stomach full of pasta and cheese. ❤️

I really loved my time here. Everyone was very welcoming and so kind and respectful to me, they really make you feel like a part of the family. The work is great and you get a lot of free time, I even got to take part in their workshop on how to repair the oven they have outside. I can definitely recommend this place to everyone who might think about coming here.

I had an amazing time atthe community learning about sustainability, having great genuine conversations and unwinding in nature!! The tasks assigned were interesting and varied, such as gardening, building, feeding the animals, household chores, etc. Had lots of free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the hills too. Everyone is passionate and very willing to share their knowledge. They are very warm and welcoming, and I even had the opportunity to join several of their family and friend gatherings! I would highly recommend this experience to everyone! Hope to be back soon <3
