Description

We ask you to become a member of our APS association so that you are covered with a small volunteers' insurance.

What you get

Days off per week: Have some time off for yourself, go explore the city or rest for a while.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Support: Get help from the Worldpackers support team in case you need it, at any point of your trip.

The Experience

Ciao! We are a commune , we have been living together for 10 years now, we are 5 adults around 35 yo and 4 children under 8yo. We here live and work together also with volunteers as equal, of course some chores are also individual but most of the time is spent in the garden, woods, building stuff, doing basic home chores for survival such as cleaning and cooking and also take care of guests during events we host. We speak basic english.

Fantastic place for personal time, work in nature, and experience with living in a community with children. The families here are very warm and welcoming, slight language barrier. Work starts 9:30-1pm Mon-Fri, it varies from gardening, building, repairing. Daily chore: feed chicken and cats Rotated chores: cooking for ~10, cleaning after meals (day 2 you might start cooking) Weekly chore: rotation style, you could be assigned to clean the kitchen, bathroom, garage, or stairway. Lots of free time to wonder in nature, beautiful views and sounds of nature. Enjoy! Highly recommended :)

I felt immediately at home with the whole community. It was my first experience, and for sure I can be happy for that! I learned a lot of things: vegetables garden, spontaneous herbs, taking care of chickens, cutting the grass and some small repairing and cleaning stuff. For lunch and dinner we ate all together; the community were always open to listen and share your doubts and suggestions, explain in details your tasks and make you feel comfortable with your needs. I really suggest to spend some week atthe community! For sure this will be only the first time for me here, but not the last!
