I spent 4 weeks on this paradise of a farm and I left with great memories. Katy's place is amazing with such diverse plants and trees and putting great effort for the ecosystem there. My work was gardening mainly some harvesting, seed sorting occasionally. Cooking dinner for the group sounded challenging at first but it worked out. Really nice place with nice people.

I had an amazing time during my two weeks at the farm! It was really enjoyable to work on low-tech projects and to learn so many new things. I loved the mix between practical work, shared meals, and great conversations with the residents. Everyone was welcoming, patient, and willing to share their knowledge. I truly appreciated that. I also had a lot of fun chatting, cooking, and playing games together. Thank you all for this experience. I'm leaving with new skills and beautiful memories !

My stay on the Fdbdm was absolutely amazing. Katy and the others on the farm welcomed me with an open heart and mind. It truly felt a little bit like coming home. (Dinning together, boardgame evenings,...) The farm itself is bigger than you might think at first, so there is always something to do - in a good way! No overworking needed ;) The tasks were variable, so I got to do and learn doing quite a few things! Also, I enjoyed learning a lot about sustainability and gardening from people who clearly have quite a bit of experience with it. I can only recommend the Fdbdm!

I had the most wonderful 3-week stay on the farm. It was an incredible opportunity to learn about sustainability and permaculture in a very hands-on way. Living alongside the animals—chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, and the dogs—was a real highlight. The balance of learning, contributing, and simply enjoying the space made the experience so meaningful. The hosts are kind, generous, and knowledgeable, and they created an environment where it was easy to feel at home while learning so much. I left with new skills, wonderful memories, and lots of gratitude. Highly recommended
