The Experience

Your job would be helping out picking, producing, helping with maintenence, like fencing, wood cutting, grass cutting, shoveling snow and so on. It would be great if you could cook sometimes for us and take the Hutdog "Charlie" on a walk. If my kids are there it would be nice if you would spend some time with them playing or take them for walk

The scenery at the hut is absolutely stunning, there are some amazing hikes to do. I very much enjoyed all the food and drink - the cakes, beer and schnapps were especially tasty. The room we stayed in was lovely and cosy and very spacious. The work wasn't too hard and often involved walking Charly which was fun. Thanks for having us for the month - me and Arwen made some good memories here

The hut is in a beautiful location and has some great hikes to do on your days off or when you're walking Charly, me and Millie were also lucky enough to see some snow! Our days off were flexible which was great for planning ahead and exploring other parts of Austria and the mountains. It probably would have been good if we knew a little more German so that we could communicate more with the locals, it was also pretty quiet while we were around as it was coming to the end of the season, so we had lots of extra free time. It was lovely to meet everyone and experience life in the mountains :)

The hosts Clem and Juli were lovely, and the location couldn't have been more beautiful! The hiking trails were great, there's lots of space to explore, would highly recommend.

An incredible experience! If you like hiking, family-style living and nature, this is the place for you! The atmosphere is incredibly good, Clem, Julie and Roos are super friendly and always willing to help and explain anything. The hut has everything (and more!) you need to live comfortably; they prepare plenty and different meals for guests so there is always food available, the rooms are super comfortable and the surroundings are wonderful! Not much to say but thank you for the experience!

It was great to meet and work with Juli Clem and Roos, there was a great team feeling. The hut is in such a nice location, great opportunities for hiking on your days off. The work is not difficult, and you get some hours off each day. Loved getting to try the different food and drinks! Charlie the dog is very cute and a nice bonus :)
