I loved my time here working for Empire/the hostel & Aaron's staff! Schedules are clear to read, and flexible to change if need be. Work is easy and logical. Aaron makes sure his volunteers get to enjoy the best part if Split! The location of the hostel is extremely central to the palace. I loved being the face of the hostel for all the guest as well. I got to meet so many great people!

Aaron was an excellent host, he was always in a good mood and his treatment was excellent. All the hostel staff were super friendly to us. The hostel is very located and the flexibility of the schedules allowed us to enjoy Split. I will always be grateful for the good treatment they had, I recommend it 100%.

Excellent hostels and a wonderful location in the center of Split. Aaron and Ashley are wonderful hosts. They were very clear about our needs at all times, made us feel very comfortable, and their flexible schedule allowed us to explore many beautiful places. We would definitely return and highly recommend this place. Thank you <3

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Aaron was a great host, he was always so kind and had the best interests of the volunteers at heart. All the staff were amazing and had great suggestions for exploring Split. The work is what I expected, mostly cleaning. There are usually 4-5 volunteers (during the spring/summer) and I was lucky enough to make some great friends. Since there are so few volunteers, we shared a room with guests, but there were no problems with this while I was there. And there were great perks like free tours and boat parties! I'm so thankful for my time there! Miss you guys!

My stay at the hostel has been absolutely wonderful. The manager and all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming — they made me feel right at home from the very beginning. I've felt truly included and part of a great team throughout my time here. The work itself is very fair, both in terms of the hours and the type of tasks. Everything is well organized, and whenever we've needed time off or had special requests, the team has always been flexible and understanding. Overall, everything has been perfect. I'm so grateful for the time I've spent here. Highly recommended!

I had a great time, the Team is really welcoming and nice! The work is easy and you have a lot of time to explore split and the islands around. But if you want to explore Croatia and meet locals this is not the place, because it really is full of tourists and everybody is talking English. But I definitely had fun and felt comfortable in the hostels, thank you :)
