Had the best time at the hostels this october! The owners Aaron and Ashley are amazing, along with the rest of the staff. The work is fairly easy and exactly as expected! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore split and surrounding areas/ islands

This was a great first volunteering experience! You are really able to experience Split and surrounding areas while still working! The staff is super great and welcoming and the work was good and reasonable.

I loved my time at the hostel/ Empire hostel. All the staff were lovely and working hours were always respected and easy to plan your day around. The workload was very simple and tasks were easy to manage, and communication between staff and volunteers was great. Great to meet other travellers and enjoy Split. Hope to be back soon :)

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel/empire! The workload was good, I had plenty of free time to explore split or around it. Aaron and Ashley are genuinely amazing and make sure you feel comfortable from day 1, and are also very open to comunication at all times. I met so many people and made unforgettable memories here! Hope to be back one day <3

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel and Empire! Ashley and Aaron are great hosts. The shifts are well scheduled and usually way in advance so you know when you'll be working. The work is very doable and fun! You share a room with other volunteers and guests so there's always someone to talk to. The location is amazing you have great access to the beach, bus station, and old town. I would highly recommend! Thanks so much Ashley and Aaron for a great experience :)

I stayed at the hostel for almost a month, and it was a fantastic experience. The hostel is three minutes from the ocean and located in the city center, close to everything. The work is very relaxed and well-scheduled, so you have time to organize trips and make the most of your free time. Aaron and all the other staff are fantastic people, always willing to help with anything you need and very patient. You can also earn good money through commissions, which is a great help for volunteers. For personal reasons I had to leave 1 week early and Aaron was very patient and understanding.

The hostel/Empire hostel is the place to be in Split! I honestly loved every moment of my experience here, ranging from the work to the environment and the people around, both guests and other staff! I honestly could not recommend this experience more! Aaron and Ashley were lovely, really great people. Best bosses I have ever had. ( if you guys are reading it, love you 🫶)! The other staff is also so lovely and nice. I couldn't wish for better! Split was so much better because of the hostel/ Empire hostel!

This was my second volunteering experience and I was scared it would not meet the expectations I had from last years experience but it ended up being one of the best summers ever! Everyone in the staff of the hostel is amazing and really makes you feel welcome and appreciated for your work! Work is super chill. There are 4 different schedules you can have but it will be mostly 9-14 and 18-23. In this time you generally make beds, check and clean bathrooms and make sure everything is tidy for the other guests! This experience also comes with a lot of discounts and free stuff to do around split

I had a lot of fun volunteering here. I made lots of friends with other volunteers as well as some other guests. The work is more house keeping/cleaning than reception and included a few overnight shifts. Overall you're encouraged to have fun as long as all work is done and it's a very relaxed space. Hosts and staff are welcoming and make sure you're trained on tasks.
