The hostel and the hostel/Hostel was a great place to volunteer at, I arrived under the weather and with low energy but everyone received me super well, gave me plenty of space and time to rest and recover, and I ended up making friends and exploring with many of the volunteers and guests from the hostel! The location is prime, about 17 mins walking from Mercado Novo and Central, and about 12-15 mins walking from central Savassi, great spots to eat and drink with lots of life. Fui muito bem recebida pelos anfitriões Nataly e Eduardo, pessoas simpáticas, tranquilas, me acolheram e me deixaram a vontade no hostel&o hostel. O serviço consiste em limpeza, arrumação e recepção dos hóspedes. Thaylinne a recepcionista me ensinou sobre o funcionamento do sistema hqbeds e também como recepcionar hóspedes, tudo com muita clareza, paciência e educação, vou sentir saudades! Os voluntários que estavam comigo foram sensacionais, espero reencontrá-los! Desejo sucesso a todos e espero poder voltar a BH e para o hostel&o hostel novamente!!!

Voluntariar no hostel & o hostel teve seus prós e contras. A localização é ótima, a estrutura é nova e bem cuidada, com espaço bom pra nômades digitais. As tarefas de recepção e limpeza foram tranquilas e ainda colaboramos com conteúdo pro Instagram do hostel, o que foi uma troca legal. Por outro lado, o clima deixou a desejar. Havia muito ruído na comunicação, mensagens pouco objetivas que mais causavam desconfortos do que melhorias para o bem comum. Quem vier, melhor não esperar um ambiente comunitário, ter foco no trabalho e evitar conversas improdutivas pra aproveitar melhor a experiência.

Voluntariado para quem busca independência, pois a gestão tem um estilo um pouquinho corporativa (não comunitário). A comunicação entre a equipe foi meio problemática: mensagens confusas, falta de objetividade e fofocas. Os donos são educados, mas ausentes no cotidiano e centralizam as decisões (provavelmente por terem outros compromissos), o que cria distância. A localização é ótima para explorar BH, estrutura nova e bem cuidada, tarefas leves na recepção/limpeza. Uma dica: mantenha foco nas suas tarefas e ignore conversas paralelas para evitar frustrações. De resto, aproveitem ao máximo!
