The hostel is a great hub for meeting and socialising with different nationalities whilst embracing the local Swedish culture. If you enjoy surrounding yourself with nature, serenity and the midnight sun, come to the hostel to experience a taste of Sweden. Remember to bring your mosquito repellent!

I had a great experience in the hostel. It was useful to practice my english, to learn new skills and to learn about swedish culture. The owners and staff were kind and friendly all the time, always asking about us. Just to let you know the place is far away to the town so is difficult to move or visit other places in your days off. However, in the hostel area there is a lot to see in nature. Totally recommended if you like to connect with nature!

It was my first time volunteering and it really was an amazing experience. the hostel is a beautiful place and everyone was super nice and welcoming. The tasks were manageable and I mainly worked in the kitchen (doing dishes, baking and other light tasks) and did some cleaning. I would definitely recommend the experience.

Staying here was the best thing that happened to me coming to Sweden! Anna and Anders are a wonderful family and they treat us with respect and affection. My task was to be in charge of the breakfast and I loved it. We have enough free time to enjoy nature and off course the National Park! I feel lucky to have been there and totally recomend ♥️🫶🏼

Thank you for the nice time I had at the hostel. I can really recommend this place to everyone, who wants to be in contact with other volunteers as well as being surrounded by nature. There isn't much around except nature and it can get hard to get around if you don't have a car (but there are bikes you can use, if you want). You can also spend your freetime with other volunteers or connect with the people from the next village (party ;) ). I often got asked if certain task were okay for me (doing dishes, housekeeping, picking cherries, preparing food, baking etc), which made me feel seen.

If you're looking for a place to take a breath, connect with nature, and experience Swedish culture, the hostel is it! Anders, Anna, and all the staff were kind and devoted to making it a great season. I had no professional kitchen experience, but they worked with me to help me learn. Definitely take advantage of the trails and the national park!

The hostel is such a magical place. There you are surrounded by such beauty that you can't believe your eyes. In my journey I had the chance to meet so many nice, lovely and warm people whom with my experience got even more wonderful. And Martin, the owner, is super kind and generous I don't remember that I asked him something and he said no. :) He is really easy going with everything and tries his best to make your stay more comfortable. The work is way clear and well defined and there is always a great sense of teamwork between all the people. Highly recommended! Five star with a big heart ❤
