I felt really welcomed by the second I arrived. the hostel is a beautiful place on earth, where you can really connect to nature and the swedish culture. The work was nice, even though it can be a bit exhausting sometimes. I would totally recommend this volunteering position to everyone!

I guess you don't need more compliments for your lovely hospitality or the super awesome place you have here but for me it was just the best start for that worldpacking adventure I could have imagined. I think this experience was exactly what it is all about. Living the life and being part of something great. Thank you for everything!!

I want to thank the hostel team for hosting me. As my first Worldpackers experience and solo trip to Europe, I was nervous, but meeting Anna and Anders eased my worries. The tasks were straightforward, and the stunning nature and traditional Swedish lifestyle were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and filling. I'm grateful they let me use their Wi-Fi to watch rugby. Despite needing to leave early, Anna and Anders' clear and flexible communication ensured the early exit worked well for everyone. Highly recommend the hostel to any young traveller seeking a truly enriching experience

The nature here is also really wonderful! There's so much to explore, and so many lakes to swim in :) I ended up extending my stay and stayed longer :)

This was my first Worldpackers experience. Is it good for first timers? Most definitely! Firstly because Anna & Anders - the hosts who run this place are exceptional in terms of making you feel like at home. the hostel itself, isn't just another hostel, it is a village with its story turned into one of a kind hostel. As for the "hard data", work hours were always respected. Food was brilliant and plentiful. Anna & Anders were easy to work for/with. Place to sleep was comfortable. Surrounding nature peaceful with endless forest and national park close by. I do recommend this place.

The hostel is absolutely magical! It is so serene and almost feels like the setting of a fairy tale in the woods. The hostel site has a history hundreds of years old and there are stories behind every building and shed. Anna and Anders were also amazing hosts and very kind. I did a variety of tasks around the hostel including gardening, timberwork, and landscaping. The work was enjoyable and you get to learn/see a fair amount of the handiwork that is involved with maintaining and building such a big property as well. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for peace and nature!

My time here has been absolutely wonderful. the hostel is an enchanting place full of motivated and passionate people who work together to make this place even more one of a kind. There is a lot of room here to grow as a person and to have a lot of fun, both while working and on time off. The nature in Sweden is worth exploring :) Anna and Anders are very special people who will make you feel right at home. They are very loving, grateful and open and thats also how they're raising their son to be (I had a lot of fun babysitting). I want to say thank you for this very special month <3

My time at the hostel has been the best experience I could have asked for, so I've decided to stay longer! the hostel is truely something else. It is such a beautiful place, the sunsets after a days work or hike feel like such a blessing and to have so much nature surround is so special. Anna, Anders and Ture are such a beautiful family and really welcoming to everyone. It really feels like we're one big family here. I've done a lot of work with timber and the usual cleaning rooms so they're ready for guests. I can't reccomend this place enough for anyone wishing to escape the big city life.

The hostel is a lovely place and I met so many great people there. These people were what made my stay so memorable. I worked there dringend the high season and we were terribely understaffed, which resulted in a lot of over hours from basically everyone. So work wasn't always fun and in my opinion, the hosts could have communicated and planned certain things better. However the nature, the good food and the incredible weather made up for it.
