Description
The program fee covers a 1-month stay (paid monthly if longer). Included: - Private room (shared bathroom) - Daily vegan breakfast - Daily transport - Weekly cleaning - NGO fees Volunteers cook together or eat at affordable local places. Shorter stays are possible, but the price stays the same. Program runs with at least 2 participants per month. Bring laptop, camera, and lenses; Photoshop and Lightroom are provided.

The Experience
Voices for Animal Welfare offers an Animal Photography Program in Tanzania for aspiring photographers who want to turn their passion into purpose. More than a training course, this program transforms participants into advocates for animals. Through fieldwork, storytelling, and ethical photography, volunteers learn how to document real stories of animals and communities, creating powerful images that raise awareness and inspire empathy.

At the organization you gain a diverse and meaningful insight in the tasks and challenges faced by an NGO dedicated to promoting the organization in Tanzania. The close-knit team creates a warm and supportive environment that encourages active exchange and strives to assist with all activities and initiatives. The main focus of our work was to support the educational programm in two local schools, where the children's positive energy was inspiring. With the nice theoretical base, I've learned from the photography manager Flávio, I could improve this here together and learned a lot.
