The Experience
Stay in a lakefront home in Wanaka and help with socializing with guests, running events, household tasks and cleaning. Perks include a hot tub, free bikes and many awesome activities. A drivers license and social media skills are a plus! A great way to experience New Zealand’s most beautiful town while being part of an inspiring community.

I loved my time at the coliving. I met some really amazing people and the house is in such an amazing area. The lake is just opposite the house. The house itself is also gorgeous. It's a really comfy, cosy the coliving to be and really accessible to wanaka town. Can walk there in 25 minutes or drive in 3 minutes. The work was easy and fun. I would recommend this to anybody!

I absolutely loved my time at the coliving! It was such a great experience! Max is an easygoing and hilarious host. The vibe was super relaxed and welcoming. Guests, volunteers and Max often did activities together - like boat trips, evenings at local bars, hot tub stargazing, sauna at sunset, Catan marathons or an Argentinian BBQ with a bonfire. It felt like living in a fun shared home with new friends rotating in. The tasks were just as described and very flexible timing-wise. Overall, it was my favorite experience. Huge thanks to Max!

I'm grateful to Max for his good vibes and his commitment to creating a community atmosphere where the idea is to share and have experiences together. The place is beautiful—there's no doubt about that—but what really stands out is how good it feels to be in a place where the goal is to generate positive energy and a sense of a small community. You share moments with the guests, with the other volunteers, and there are always different activities to enjoy. If you want to bring good vibes and experience Wanaka from a more local perspecte, this is the place to be :)

Max was awesome and the experience is so incredible! Work is not too much and in a great location! I met so many other cool volunteers as well and the environment Max created was really awesome. Definitely recommend the experience.

Had the best time volunteering at the coliving! Felt very welcome from the start. Max made sure everybody in the house was enjoying their time. Most days there are social activities you can join, like hikes in the weekends, pubquiz, pool competitions, pickleball, boardgames etc. Wanaka is amazing, the views are so beautiful and it has a great vibe. Definately easy to stick around here for a longer amount of time. The job mainly involves keeping the communal spaces clean and socialize with guests who will become friends. I wish I could stay longer! Thankyou for this experience Max:)
