Staying at the school's house at Ta Van Village was such a great experience. We taught English four hours a day- two hours in the morning and two in the evening (once a week we had three lessons a day). The students are amazing- they all want to learn and they work really hard for it (and they are so nice and fun). The other volunteers were so nice, we went hiking and traveling in Sapa and went to coffee houses together. I really recommend this volunteer, it was great.

The experience was truly special. 2 weeks flew by, and I saw real progress in the students' learning. I taught various levels, which kept lessons engaging and challenging. It was especially rewarding to help adults improve their English so they could qualify as tour guides. The other volunteers and Chua, who runs the house, were incredibly welcoming and supportive. A great experience for anyone wanting to make a real impact in the local community! I hope to return one day, but if not, it's inspired me to volunteer more as I travel.

I spent 3 incredible weeks at the school with Chua, the students, and other volunteers. This school provides courses to local residents so they can find a career and improve their standard of living. It's a truly meaningful project that allowed me to meet and discover local people! I recommend this volunteering experience to anyone who wants to help and give something back. Thank you so much to the school ❤️

It was my first volunteer job as an english teacher and I am thankful to have experienced it with such a gerat team! The idea of the school is really good! Thong and the school are very welcoming and you can speak with them very openly. And CHUA!! She made me feel very comfortable and was always there if I needed something! :) The food was also delicious we eat really Vietnamese ( from rice to bamboo to summer rolls to spring rolls ect ect) I also liked that we teached Kids, Teenagers and Adults. The hours are very manageable and the students are so welcoming and nice - it was hard to leave- 🫶🏻

Volunteering here has been an incredible experience that I'd recommend to anyone wanting to truly connect with the local community. The stay was perfect thanks to Chua, who is amazing, always attentive, caring and works so hard to make sure everything goes well. The students are so grateful and motivated, which makes teaching really fulfilling. The warmth of the people I've met makes me want to come back one day. A huge thank you to the school for the opportunity to be part of this project!
