The Experience

Reception desk assistant role requires someone with fluent English (other languages are highly welcomed but not mandatory) and pleasent & smiling demeanor. Your workplace will be one of the newest hostels in the heart of Prague with our young team. Your work tasks may vary but the core ones are: communicating with guests, proceeds with check-ins, helping guests with Prague tips and much more.

I had a wonderful time staying at the hostel in the hostel volunteering as an events coordinator for a month. The staff were lovely and helpful, and I met many amazing people through my work at the hostel. The facilities were always very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend volunteering here to anyone interested!

Our stay at the hostel was amazing! The hostel is super clean and comfortable, and the staff couldn't be friendlier - special shoutout to Michal for being extra awesome :) The working hours were relaxed and the tasks were easy to handle. The only small “downside” is that the vibe is a bit more hotel-like, so it's not quite as social as some other hostels. But honestly, it makes connecting with smaller groups even easier - quality over quantity :) Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it. 🌟🫶

I had the best experience at the hostel, lovely kind staff and the hotel is very clean, comfortable, the location can't be better and you are provided with anything possibly needed (+ you can get breakfast!). The work was very easy and they were so flexible with me which I really appreciate. I stayed for almost two months and made so many friends, met the best people and enjoyed Czech Republic as much as possible. Forever grateful, thank you a million times over!

Me and my best friend stayed and volunteered in the hostel for 3 weeks. The hostel is super clean and the staff is super friendly. I worked at the reception and workload was nicely distributed, so I had lots of time to also explore the city and rest. It was a great experience, I met lots of people, had lots of fun, and enjoyed the hostel so much that it felt like a second home<3 If anyone has more questions about the experience just pop me a text and I'll try to help as much as I can!

I had such a positive experience volunteering at the hostel! Jan, Pavel and the rest of the team were always friendly and approachable. You share a dorm with the fellow volunteers and so you get very close very quickly with them! I truly made some incredible friendships while I was there!! I loved the flexibility and independence I was given in my role as events organiser. I do think my experience in the hostel before did give me leverage to organise events such as leading walking tours and bringing guests to food markets. I really recommend this worldpacker's experience!!
