The Experience
Our camp is located in the middle of nature, 50 meters from the sea and 150 meters from a lagoon where you can find a large number of species: spider, capuchin and howler monkeys, iguanas, coaties, raccoons, a multitude of bird species, etc. Our work consists of monitoring the birdlife of the lagoon with the intention of promoting the conservation of the species that live there, studying their behavior and evaluating human impact.

What a beautiful experience! This volunteer opportunity really immerses you in the local culture. I was able to meet and connect with lots of locals. If you're thinking “i need to touch grass” this is the perfect place to disconnect from the internet and reconnect with nature and the world!
