I think I will lack words to describe what my time working with Adrian at First hostel was like. He is very attentive to the volunteers, always thinking about how he can make our lives more comfortable, from a refrigerator for just the volunteers to the air conditioning, not to mention the times we all go out together to his house and to the club. Regarding the work itself, it is work that requires a lot of attention but once you learn it it becomes very easy. I made friends here that I want to keep for life!

My overall experience was very good, I had fun and I learned a lot about the role of receptionist, the shift is long and you have to be prepared for every type of situation, working hours are respected, and if there are any requests to change Adrian is always available. the structure is constantly improving, and Adrian is super attentive to every need of the volunteers, he organizes dinners, evenings out for all the volunteers, more than once he bought fresh fruit and ordered pizza, he introduced us to his entire group of friends, that's super ☺️

My first volunteer job with world packers and it was a really good introductory job. I hadn't done reception work before but had a few days induction which really helped calm any worries . Very social environment amongst other volunteers and you tend to go out/ organise dinners and such together. Location is very central so great public transport and can walk most places nearby. Adrian was super flexible and understanding with schedules + made sure all the volunteers had fun in Bucharest. The hostel itself was very modern and clean, lots of showers, AC in rooms and two kitchens!

This was an amazing experience for me. I was suppose to stay for only a month but ended up extending by 10 days because I just didn't want to leave. The hostel is loads of fun and the location is perfect. Even though he didn't have to Adrian went out of his way for us by making sure we had a great stay. He took us round to his place for drinks and out clubbing, even paid for us and the other volunteers to go to a water park haha. I got very lucky with this hostel. This was an incredible time and am very sad for leaving. Thank you for everything!!

My experience in Nest hostel in Bucharest couldn't have been better. Adrian, the host, is the most generous and understanding person and would always make sure we felt at home. He invited us to plans and took us dancing, which was super fun. The work hours are respected and the job is very easy. We also got plenty of money to buy food and eat out. All the volunteers were super nice and we got along really well. And you also get the chance to meet international travelers in the hostel. The city is beautiful, and you get plenty of free time to explore around. I will for sure come back❤️
