The Experience

Our lovely farmhouse is in rural Andalucia, approx. one hour from Malaga. My wife and I live in the main part of the house together with our dog Tommy . We have a self contained studio where our volunterrs would stay. We need someone to help in the garden and on the land as well as some painting, light maintenance, swimming pool cleaning and Tommy dog sometimes needs to be taken for a walk. Jobs are done in the morning and afternoons free.

This is an ideal place to disconnect in a remote place surrounded by nature! The tasks were easy and Carl, who manages the WPs, is attentive, very respectful and, as a good Englishman, very organized; this makes the day pleasant and well planned. The accommodation is comfortable and private and although all meals are offered, the truth is that the hosts give you an amount of cash per week to do the groceries. In our case the quota for 2 people wasn't enough, so I advise to clarify this point beforehand to avoid any misunderstanding. For us was a great and peaceful experience! Thanks Carl&Maria

Although new to this website, we have been successfully Hosting volunteers for many years on other platforms. In recent years to avoid food waste and give our visitors their choice of food,we have given them an amount of money to cover all their meal expenses (excluding alcohol, cigarrettes, etc).
Quite simply, Laura and Erick consumed more food and drink than other couples but it wasn t a problem as we gave them some extra cash to cover their needs.
