It was a great volunteer experience, very peaceful and beautiful environment, Sam and Chris would take us to the town to visit the market every week, communicate with us every day about daily routine, make sure everyone is ok, Sam's cooking is excellent! I miss the time we spent together!

What a great (too short) time at the farm!! The work is really diverse, I learnt a lot and enjoyed it. The place has an incredible view on mountains and the sea, and Sam (what a cooker!!) and Chris are really lovely people, I'll miss this place and the family so much!

In a good way it is difficult to describe with words how it is living at the farm, it has to be experienced! From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed, and I quickly felt at peace, both with the place and with the people (and animals). Sam and Chris are so lovely, and great at being hosts! They will make sure you are comfortable with the work and where you live. Together with Sam and Chris, baby Salina and the animals (cuteness alert!) I had so much fun, and they made me feel like a part of the family🫶 Not to mention that the farm is SO beautiful! Can't wait to be back!🌸💚

My experience in the farm was wonderful. Chris, Sam, Salina, (Buck and Peanut) made the place a true paradise. We were incredibly well received with Elena. We had the best possible comfort during our stay. Concerning work, I was excited to wake up every morning to learn new things. The work doesn't feel like work. The physical labour was very satisfying and rewarding to accomplish. Looking forward to coming back again to reunite with the beautiful souls of the place and also to see the flowers, trees, animals and the project grow.

I'm already telling my friends to come here! Sam and Chris are amazing hosts, it really feels like you're staying with friends. They're super understanding and fair about work hours and tasks always teaching how to do things, working in here these days was fun and i'm already planning to come back! If you're looking for an incredible time learning about sustainable farming, a bit of DIY, and connecting with nature (and some incredible Maltese people living in Italy), come!
