Volunteering at KPH was the best experience I could have asked for, a perfect place for a first-time volunteer. All of the staff were amazing and truly made you feel at home and part of the family, and all the wildlife adds a magical touch to this little paradise. The tasks were well-organized and straightforward, making them easy and fun to complete. I recommend doing all the tours and game drives that you can, they were all so much fun! I am leaving with so many great memories and new friends from all over the world. I will genuinely miss everyone so much and can't wait to come back! ♡ 𓃵𓃱♡

I spent unforgettable 3 week experience here. Thank you Oliver,Marion,Mayra,Rene,Rober and the amazing team for making me feel part of this family. The place is surrounded by nature, the food is delicious, and the hostel is always clean and organized, also if you ever need anything the staff will always be there to help and make things easier for you. You can feed zebras and other animals, and they also offer tours to places like Eswatini or Mozambique. I 100% recommend it if you love nature, animals and meet good people. Thank you and i really hope to see you all again someday soon!!

The hostel is truly a place like no other. I arrived without any expectations and my experience turned out to be better than I could have imagined. From seeing plenty of animals on the game drives, feeding Zebras or bushbucks next to the pool to camping trips in Eswatini or Mozambique, my heart is full with new memories. Everyone is really kind and caring and you get to meet plenty of people and guests. And by the end of my stay I felt myself as if part of a little family <3 If time allows me I will definitely return in future! Thank you for making this opportunity possible!

It was an absolute pleasure having Kim with us! She brought such great energy, kindness, and curiosity—fitting right into our little Kruger Park Hostel family. From game drives to camping adventures, she embraced every moment and left with a heart full of memories (and hopefully a lifelong habit of making her own bread, yogurt, granola, and jam!).
We wish her all the best for her move to the Netherlands and hope to welcome her back someday—shuttle stories and all!

Hello, I want to greet everyone who takes the time to read this message. My first experience as a volunteer was in this beautiful place, the hostel. I truly want to thank the people with whom I shared this experience. Thank you Mayra, thank you René, thank you Oliver, thank you Marian, and thank you to everyone who made this place my home. I connected with nature. I had the opportunity to see the wildlife of the hostel National the hostel firsthand, and I definitely had an experience I'll remember forever.

Alejandro volunteered with us at Kruger Park Hostel for one month as our cook, and his contribution was nothing short of exceptional. His food was consistently outstanding—creative, flavorful, and always prepared with care. Beyond his culinary talent, Alejandro brought warmth and positivity to the team, making him an absolute pleasure to work with. We are grateful for his time with us and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

My time at the hostel was incredible. From the very first day, it was like being at home! The staff and hosts are so lovely and chatty, the hostel is very community and family oriented, and the location /safaris are so serene. The other volunteer, Alejandro, was super sweet and working with him along with the hosts was so fun and rewarding; I learnt how to make yoghurt and a traditional South African snack, rusks. In terms of workload, it's easy going and if you time manage well, you can do it all quite quickly so you have more of the day to chill and socialise with the hostel guests.
