Rachel is an amazing person and a great host! The hotel staff as well as the bar staff are super friendly and helpful, although you need to adapt a little and learn lao language a little. Located in the heart of VangVieng, it leaves you ton of time to explore the city and around it! Definitely recommend for people that want to connect with nature, explore Lao culture, and get in touch with locals.

Volunteering at the hotel was a great experience. The host Rachel🌸is kind, welcoming, and supportive in oll possible ways. The nature around is truly beautiful with lush mountains, a peaceful river, and quiet surroundings make it a perfect place to relax. The staff is cooperative, warm people they are and maintain the place with high sanitary standards. Discounts on extra activities like yoga or muay Thai if one is interested. I have enjoyed my time here learning about local culture and food. After the volunteering time is over one has enough time to explore the places around.🤍

This experience has been very fruitful and great for integrating learning and skills transfer. I have been able to develop social marketing strategies for the hotel that will be resourceful to grow their social media presence especially in platforms such TikTok which are fast growing . I have created documents that they can refer to when I am gone and be able to learn to monetise, grow and audit their social media across different business. I have also assisted in simplifying social media strategies so that they can be able to use them on a day-to-day basis for growth.

I've been through an unexpected experiece and requested WP Safeguard thanks to the supporting team. In general the host not respect the job task and obviously does not do pre-alignment and consider they is the boss. I was there for the pony caring job originally and then the host have another nonWP same time ( staying longer ) , the host asked me to do street cleaning and pick up trash one the second morning when I just arrived the stable. I refused without a poper communication before hand for me to understand and think, so the host asked me to leave immediately that day.
