We’re looking for a friendly and proactive volunteer to join our team in Kandy🌞

Your main tasks will include helping at reception, organizing tours and activities, and supporting the daily flow of our lively hostel. It’s the perfect role for someone who loves meeting travelers, sharing local experiences, and keeping things running smoothly.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English

Between 20 and 35 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

You’ll be surrounded by guests from all over the world, in one of the most beautiful and cultural cities in Sri Lanka 🌺🏞️

Your help with reception duties, tour planning, guest interaction, and hostel events will make a real difference in keeping the good vibes flowing
