The Experience

I used to grow mushrooms and build ecological/earthbag structures here. The house and farm are in the middle of a pine forest on top of the 600m high mountain. It's nice place for those that like calm and nature, away from city life. It's 1 hour with public transport to a busy district of the city. Volunteers can practice their skills in house maintenance, landscaping, craftsmanship etc..

In the beautiful landscape of rural Turkey, you'll see what the village life is like. Options for connecting with locals, practicing your Turkish, hiking and connecting with nature. Opportunity to learn new skills of home and farm repair and maintenance. Leave the comforts and noise of the city and use your hands and breath the fresh air with Yücel.

İ worked in gardening and cleaning a mushroom greenhouse. İn the weekdays you will work alone and during the weekend with Yücel, who is a wise and interesting guy. The village is small and slow-paced, so don't expect much social interaction. However, if you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy mountain views, then it is suitable. İ spent few days but İ did some nice walks around in the farm.
