The Experience

Hello! 👋 We are a warm and welcoming family living on a beautiful farm surrounded by lush meadows and olive trees. Our little paradise is home to Mattia (12 years old) and Sirio (4 years old), who love growing up close to nature. 🌳✨ After years of fast-paced city life, we made the decision to slow down and embrace a lifestyle more in tune with our natural rhythms. What we want to offer you is the possibility of living with us as a family.

A truly magical place. Gabriele's family welcomed me into their home immediately and were generous, kind and funny. If you want to immerse yourself in the joys of an Italian family, authentic culture, living in harmony with nature and improve your language, I highly recommend the farm. The community project is an inspiration and the location is beautiful. Every day we sat under an olive tree for lunch lovingly cooked by Noemi – heaven! The work was varied, some outside in nature and some indoors, with plenty of breaks. It was my first volunteer experience and it couldn't have been better.

I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Italian culture and life in the countryside better. Gabriele and his family gave me a warm welcome, and we spent a lot of time together even outside of “working hours.” My apartment was lovingly furnished, and the food was also very delicious. Knowing at least the basics of Italian is helpful to really be able to communicate with everyone. But even without speaking Italian, everything worked out great for me. I had a lot of fun — thank you so much for the wonderful time!

My stay with the farm and Gabriele's family exceeded all expectations I had of life on an olive farm and I would genuinely recommend it to anyone looking to reconnect with nature/be immersed in Tuscan culture:) I immediately felt welcomed into their family and cherished the time spent with them over amazing meals. They are generous, flexible and make an effort to make you feel as though you are living at home. Basic Italian skills are recommended but not needed at all to laugh and enjoy the wonders of the farm. Grazie the farm family❤️

This lovely family truly integrates you, making you part of their own. Delicious, typical Italian dishes are carefully prepared with the best and sustainable ingredients. They strive for a better world and do their part. If you want to experience an Italian family and love the countryside, animals, and children, this is a truly great place to be. I learned a lot of Italian, about plants, and the social initiatives they participate in. I felt like part of the family. They are flexible, happy, and genuinely make you feel at home. A typical Italian Sunday awaits you! Thank you, all four of you.
