I spent almost three amazing weeks with a lovely family. I helped repaint and restore some kitchen furniture — it turned out beautiful! What truly made this experience special was how warmly I was welcomed. They have a unique way of caring: they listen, ask, and genuinely make you feel at home. I'm traveling to improve my English, and they were patient and supportive. I felt loved, respected, and seen. More than just volunteering — it was real connection. I'm leaving with a full heart and deep gratitude ❤️🐾

This was my first worldpackers experience and from the time I arrived at Trish and Henry's I felt right at home! Some of the most welcoming, generous, and down to earth people I have ever met. The work hours were more than reasonable (exactly what was agreed) and I thoroughly enjoyed helping with the painting and gardening. It was a perfect balance to go exploring and relax as well! Could not be more grateful for this experience, and I look forward to always keeping in touch. All my love to my Somerton family (and of course gorgeous Belle, Joey, and Storm)

Without exaggeration, Henry and Trish are the warmest and most considerate people I've met. I've learned a lot about painting and maintaining a house. Beyond work, I also learned a great deal about literature, music, english history and culture, thanks to their vast knowledge. They always looked after us, helping us explore and enjoy life. Work was also incredibly fun and rewarding. I will miss them terribly.
