We are a small family farm located in central Quebec, producing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables.

While we are not certified organic, we do our best to reduce the use of chemicals and strongly believe in responsible farming practices.

Summers in Quebec are often warm and humid, with humidex temperatures ranging from around 20°C up to 45°C during the day. You must be able to tolerate working long hours under the sun. To reduce heat exposure, we usually start work as early as possible, often at dawn.

Since we are at the mercy of Mother Nature, there will be times when work continues in the rain. These are the conditions you should be prepared to experience.

Lodging is provided, with the possibility of a paid travel fee depending on length of stay.

Activities & Shift

Most tasks are done standing or kneeling and mainly involve weeding and harvesting. Harvesting generally includes sorting and cleaning the crops afterward.

Throughout the summer, we may also have small construction projects, such as building signs or fences. Hand-weeding fields can be repetitive and may take several days to complete. While we often rotate tasks, it’s not uncommon to spend half a day weeding a field, potentially kneeling for long periods.

When working, we prioritize doing the job well over rushing, while balancing speed and output. You may also be invited to participate in the public market as a salesperson if you feel comfortable doing so.

There is no fixed schedule. Tasks are usually planned the night before, but priorities can change during the day.
