Description
Volunteers contribute $20 per day (per person) to cover expendables for food, maintenance, or financing our programme.

The Experience
Join us in Karangasem Regency, one of the most serene and remote areas of Bali! We need volunteers to teach English and assist locals in farming, making a real difference in the lives of the community. With a focus on improving English skills and supporting sustainable farming practices, youโll help empower locals to create brighter futures.

Staying with Putra and family was one of the most fulfilling experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. Putra was always available and made sure everything was comfortable throughout my stay. Also, the home cooked food was amazing. The school and the kids are truly special. The children are always eager to learn English and light up with joy when you teach them through games. Beyond the school, I got the chance to met local villagers, help them pick flowers from their farms, play volleyball and even join in on Karaoke afternoons.

So are the flower farmers you helped pick flowers at the plantation. They're happy that you were able to help them and share so much. The accomodation is clean, comfortable, and private. Your meals are brought to your porch hot and delicious. Putra and his family are kind, generous, and fun, and they include you in outings and enjoyable downtime. The children are smart and excited to learn, everyone in the village says hello with a smile, and not one person has been unpleasant. The experience is authentic and filled with cultural exchange. I would recommend this project to anyone looking for a true Bali experience that benefits both you and the community!

Everything you have done for the community in my village will bring a huge positive impact, especially on the children who received English lessons almost every day. Everyone was very enthusiastic. Of all my time spent in Indonesia, I had the BEST experiences with Putra and his family!! Participating in this experience, I was one of two volunteers at the time, and we were the only two travelers throughout Bebandem which I thought was pretty sick. Putra has everything you want and need and will always have recommendations or fun things for you to do. My favorite things to do in my downtime were to drive around on a moped through the village, scuba dive over in Amed/ Tulamben, and play volleyball with the villagers. I spent little to nothing during my time with Putra. 10/10 experience!!!

We had an amazing time with Putra and the kids! Teaching the children was a truly wholesome experience, seeing them get excited about English felt very rewarding. Spending our free time in Karangasem was also a perfect opportunity to explore true local life in Bali. We were treated with delicious home-cooked meals by Putra and his family, visitied the local villages and famous sights and got to experience the countless traditions firsthand. I hope we can return some day!
