The Experience

Ciao Worldpackers! We’re Ermes and Alessia, a couple living in northern Italy, along the enchanting shores of Lake Garda. Our hotel and restaurant is located in the charming city of Gardone Riviera, which has been named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy! We’re currently looking for talented artists to help us transform our rooms by painting walls with creative designs that reflect the emotions of our surroundings :)

My stay at Hotel the host was the best! The hosts and the whole staff there were very nice and welcoming, always made sure we had everything we needed. The food they provided is so so delicious, and the apartment is big but cozy. The days are very relaxed, paint in the mornings and in the afternoons you're free to explore. I did a bit of overtime but it was never expected of me, it's only important you finish your mural in time which for me was totally doable (and honestly with that view i could've stayed there and painted all day long). I recommend this experience to every artist and creative

I had a great experience here at lake garda! The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They did a great job at explaining what was expected of me which I appreciated. They provided delicious food and the apartment they provided us to stay in was great! 10/10 recommend!

Grazie mille Alessia e Ermes per le meravigliose settimane a Gardone Riviera! I really enjoyed my stay. If you love to paint and want to come into contact with locals, hotel the host is the place for you! I would apply if you are ready to invest a lot in your painting, you do have free time to explore but painting will occupy a big part of your day. I really enjoyed the slow breakfasts at the hotel and staying at the house with the volunteer❤️. The busses are kind of an adventure, always late but they will arrive, you'll get used to it. This was an incredible experience! The hosts and staff were so kind, welcoming, and truly made us feel like family. I painted a mural in one of the hotel rooms—guided by their vision but able to express my own style, which I loved. The days were relaxed: breakfast, painting in the morning, delicious lunches, and afternoons free to explore or chill by the lake! The hotel's artistic, homey vibe made it feel so special. I'm so grateful—highly recommend! Note: This experience is very painting-focused—perfect if you love painting for hours and don't mind working overtime
