I highly recommend this volunteering experience. Diogo is very kind, I ate very well. The house is minimalist and there is no wifi but it has everything you need (kitchen, shower with hot water). I learned a lot of Portuguese vocabulary! (Diogo also speaks English). The tasks are varied and the rythme of work is calm. Go for it without hesitation.

I loved everything about our experience with Diogo. He was extremely welcoming and adaptative to our needs. We were immersed in the nature, and got to work on different tasks. There is no signal (with TIM) at the place, but you can get 4G a few hundred meters from there. The conditions were basic but we had everything we needed : a kitchen, a place to sleep, toilets, a warm shower... We shared our food with Diogo, and cooked together. He has unlimited bananas 😁 I highly recommend this experience!

Se você está a procura de um lugar pra se conectar com a com natureza aqui é o seu lugar. O Diogo por me proporcionar a vivência real de uma agrofloresta roots. Fizemos diversas atividades, dentre elas colhemos pupunha, colhemos e fizemos a despolpar de juçara(o trem baum) além de outras inúmeras frutas. Tivemos dia de plantio na agrofloresta também, de preparo do solo, manejo de matéria e entendimento das necessidades de cada árvore plantada. Tive contato com diversas pessoas maravilhosas, trilhas animais e banhos de rio que vão ficar pra sempre marcado em meu ser. the project é Luz. Pra cima.

Diego es un amor! Sus hijas son hermosas y disfrutamos mucho de la experiencia. En lo personal aprendí bastante sobre el trabajo que hace con plantas. Lo único que se nos hizo difícil fue no tener señal en la casa, yo tengo un chip TIM y no tenía señal. Y además, dependíamos del para poder ir a buscar comida, por lo que recomiendo antes de subir tener una buena cantidad de comida para tener en la semana. Diego es una persona muy respetuosa y acuerda actividades que resuenen con lo que uno quiere hacer. Nunca hicimos algo que no queríamos. Mi experiencia fue muy muy buena. Gracias Diego!
