The Experience

In Sonta Coliving we bring together people from different countries who work remotely and pay us for accommodation. We will need a help of one volunteer in March 2025 to help us maintain our coliving and coworking space. Your tasks will be to help us in simply day tasks like: cleaning, gardening (obligatory) and other tasks depending your skill (e.g. decorating space, repairing etc.) Everything is free for you, except the food.

I came here not expecting much but will leave with the thought that I have found a home away from home. Sara and Nikola, very welcoming and caring, invited us to join them on their theatre plays and trips to Danube river. the coliving is a charming town with a lot of greenery and friendly locals. The co-working space is great and the garden will be full of fruits and veggies too. The train station is very close, making it perfect for day trips around the area. Tasks are not heavy. One part of my heart will always stay here 🖌️. Thank you for creating this place and sharing your vision!

My Second time at the coliving Co-Living! Great place to meet other travelers from around the world. You get the chance to know the Serbian culture. Nicola and Sara are both warm-hearted, friendly, and kind, with them you will feel part of the family alongside Buba (dog) + Jerry (Cat) + Mishko (Dog). Recommended for anyone coming to Serbia, anyone who likes peaceful village life.

The full experience was amazing ! Nikolai and Sara simple the best. Always taking care of make you feel welcome and comfortable. The activities was fair and according to your experience and likes. The warm and home feeling was something special, and a really great opportunity to immerse in the Serbian local culture. Totally recommend this experience if you want to have a chill time far from big cities, and enjoy nature as far as you work making an impact in the place. Also, be careful with Buba (the Queen of the house) she will still your heart but just don't pet her belly, it's a trap !

I had such a great time at the coliving! Nikola and Sara are very warm and welcoming hosts. The village is small but it's cozy and provides a good opportunity to interact with locals and relax in nature. There is also a train station very close to the coliving, that you can take to explore nearby cities on your days off. The work was fulfilling, especially in the garden. I would definitely recommend this experience.

What can I say? My first time volunteering + first time in Coliving space, it couldn't have been any better! Nicola & Sarah are amazing! They creat an atmosphere where strangers feel at home, they attend to every need you might have & make you feel welcome, other than the meals they provided to us which they cooked from traditional recipes 🍖. My experience was awesome! I gained a lot of experience from making Rakija to making Wine to organizing the space to planting in the gardento living the life of the village & emerse into there astonishing culture with the kindest people in Serbia 🇷🇸
