We have 2 new hostels in the city of Athens which we love to see people putting their art on them . We are always happy to accept artists that they would like to paint a wall in a room , a common space or even a corridor .

I had such a lovely time volunteering with the hostel!! Timetable is issued in advanced so it's easy to plan your time off, I managed to visit a couple islands and fully explore the city. We shared dorms with guests and the bar was always lively so it was easy to make friends. Tasks were simple and the bartenders were fun to work with. All the staff were really welcoming, there is always someone ready to help you out with any issue. Overall, had such a great experience :)

I had a great time, but I'm sure experience differs based on amount of other volunteers ( we had 5, but when I initially arrived we were just 2) and hostel assigned. I was at the hostel, the accommodations were clean and modern (free breakfast, coffee, drinks, laundry), other volunteers were great, and shifts were short and easy. Easy to make friends at the hostel bar and 5 mins from the metro so you can easily explore Athens. We could also go to the hostel whenever, which was nice since they had a more social rooftop. Would have been nice to have a volunteer only room but overall great experience!

Staying here was my first volunteer experience and I really enjoyed it. Other volunteers and employees made me feel welcome and the place became like a home within a month. The tasks were easy and you could take breaks if needed. I met amazing people and this trip will always be in my mind! 🫶🏻🥰

My experience at Athens Hawk the hostel was great! - The hostel team and volunteers were all welcoming and friendly. - Tasks are simple and match what was agreed upon: morning and afternoon shifts consist of washing the dishes at the kitchen and evening/night shifts at the bar you also have smaller simple tasks such as getting ice, making change, locking up at the end, etc. - The schedule is sent weekly so you can plan visits to other islands on your days off. - Room is super comfortable, and you can use the gym and all other facilities. - Location is close to metro but in a quiet neighborhood.

Such a good experience!! The social life was 10/10, meeting so many people every day and the rooftop bar made this place alive!!! You can walk to anywhere from the hostel and has great connections:)
