Imogen is the most wonderful host I could have wished for. Hospitable, helpful, interesting, inspirational. From fetching me and returning me to the train station when I arrived and left, to sharing her days and local trips and sightseeing with me, to making delicious meals and ensuring my time was really well spent, volunteering with Imogen was a truly fantastic experience. The tasks were easy, enjoyable and rewarding, and it was a real pleasure collaborating with Imogen. I would gladly have extended my stay if I could have, and hope to return to see more of Lincoln and surrounds too.

This experience was awesome! Imogen is truly special. I was the only volunteer in a short stay, but I still got to meet other travelers. Also, Imogen invited me to experience her English lifestyle, I met her lovely family and learn about her daily activities. The tasks were simple, like walking her cute dog LouLou, laundry, general cleaning, etc., however, I would love to do much more, because the work hours were flexible and didn't count them. Imogen helped me to improve my skills in English, she is very patient. And she cooks delicious English food at dinner. I felt at home :3

My time with Imogen in Lincoln was amazing! Imogen does a great job at making you feel welcomed and integrated into the house. She introduced me to her friends and family, who are lovely. The house is located in a great spot, you can get to anywhere in town from there! The work was simple and I had lots of time to go out and explore the city. My favourite part was getting to go on long walks with her dog, Loulou! I also loved getting to sit down with Imogen for dinner every night. Thank you Imogen 🩷

Lincoln is such a beautiful place! Imogen's house is big, comfortable, and cozy—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment. The food was amazing, and the whole atmosphere felt so peaceful. Imogen is an absolute angel—so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. She even made a delicious dinner for the two of us and bought the materials we needed for our project. She also introduced me to her friends, which made me feel really welcomed. I highly recommend going there. It was truly a beautiful experience!

Words not express how much I felt after meeting Imogen, Lou Lou and all the people we met in this beautiful city, Lincoln. Every day of our stay was incredible, I felt at home, in my city. Our room was like being in a hotel. We were very comfortable in a place that was always warm. Imogen was sweet, patient, grateful and always concerned about whether we were feeling well. She cooked delicious meals and made us tea. Every day we went out with Lou (her beautiful Labrador with shiny black fur). I will carry every memory of that time forever in my heart. Thank you for everything Imogen 🌷🐶❤️

My experience with Imogen in Lincoln was excellent. She helped me develop my English, introduced me to her activities, and made me feel at home. Working hours are respected. The room is comfortable. The food provided is good quality, and the city is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen! The house is very well located; you can walk almost everywhere. Muito difícil dizer em palavras tudo o que vivemos nesses dias em Lincoln com a Imogen e sua linda Labrador Lou Lou . Imogen é uma pessoa muito amável e sempre disposta a nos ajudar, sempre preocupada .Eu busco aprimorar meu inglês, nada melhor do que conviver com uma excelente professora. Peguei um carinho também muito especial com a Lou Lou, todos os dias dávamos longas ou curtas caminhadas, sentirei muita falta. Lincoln é uma cidade incrível, fizemos grandes amigos lá. Em relação ao voluntariado, Imogen deixa bem claro o que necessita ser feito. Nós criávamos uma lista e seguíamos. ❤️
